The overlap of the corrugated sheets prevents water from backing up into the building. Metal buildings are much better than wooden buildings. Metal buildings will not warp like wood does. With metal buildings, there is no worry about a fire hazard. With metal buildings, there are no worries about termites or wood rot that you find with wooden buildings.
