Quail hunting in florida, and so much more
Up until about 1980 a quail plantation in Florida was unheard of. Until that time, anyone could be very successful in hunting quail on public land in Florida. Nowadays the quail population has diminished in Florida due to the growing population of people who have encroached on their natural habitat and the increase in the feral cat population. The quail population has actually declined by up to 70 percent. One solution to help preserve the quail population and help hunters has been the development of the idea of a quail plantation in Florida.
