The container was picked up the next day and immediately delivered to our new abode. Now moving day is always hectic. Having to unload and unpack everything in new place the same day that you just packed the old place is exhausting. Another advantage of pods storage is that, like during the moving phase, you can take your time unpacking. We had the same movers who did the heavy lifting a couple days before come to the new place that day and unload the furniture.
